Looking for more Drama in your life? Some Comedy? A little Mystery? Click on “Membership” and find out about volunteer opportunities with the Burlington Players! |
|
The Burlington Players are an adult, all volunteer theater group open to those age 18 and over, and new members are always welcome. Experience in performing or in technical theater is welcome, but we also have an apprentice system for anyone who wants to learn.
Just about any skill comes in handy in a theater. We need people to build scenery and paint, scavengers to find (or maybe beg, borrow or build) properties, costumers (non-sewers, too), writers and folks with desktop publishing skills for programs or publicity, refreshment sellers, ticket tearers, flyer folders, people to sticker mailings, pull weeds in the courtyard, wire up the sound systems, design and operate stage lighting . . . the list goes on and on.
The Burlington Players' season includes productions in September, November, March, and May as well as special events and activities such as workshop productions and staged readings.
There's fun and entertainment for everyone at the Burlington Players' Park Playhouse! (781) 229-2649 or Email info@burlingtonplayers.com.

About the Park Playhouse
The Burlington Players created the Park Playhouse from the barracks and mess hall of a former Nike Missile base. The property, now called Overlook park, was given to the town by the federal government for use as a recreational facility. Now it houses an intimate, handicapped accessible performing space which comfortably seats 75 and plenty of parking.
The Park Playhouse is home to three groups: the Burlington Players, an adult theater group; the Children's Theater Workshop, for elementary and middle grades; and the Winnmere Family Theater for grades eight and up.
The Park Playhouse is filled with enjoyable experiences, both onstage and backstage, for all ages. Why not give it a try?
For more information on how to participate in these programs give us a call at (781) 229-2649 or email us at info@burlingtonplayers.com.
